🏈 GAME THREAD 🏆 Bowl Season 2019-2020 🏆

I think Bama won more, or the same number of games in Atlanta one year than the Falcons.

I went looking and can't find that year. What is definitely accurate is that Alabama has more postseason wins in Atlanta than the Falcons do across all years. Alabama is 9-4 in the GA dome or Mercedes-Benz in SECCG and Bowls. Atlanta is 6-3 in the postseason at home.

But they pretty much did that to everyone this year. You just can't give them credit for anything. You've been super sour on them that I picked up on since last year when I was talking about them having success.
I'll give OU as much credit as they have earned. They've played three SEC teams in the playoffs the last three years and have given up 162 points and over 1750 yards. OU has been, and was again, over rated.

Your comment came across as LSU didn't accomplish anything because the Oklahoma defense is so bad. I was just saying they went up and down the field on everyone all year. But yes, Oklahoma was and is overrated. I still stand by Alabama being the only team able to give the Top 3 a real game regardless of the Auburn outcome.

Sorry, I confused my mediocre sports teams. It was Jerry World and the Cowboys.

That illegal forward pass/touching by the lineman on that TD, could end up costing some bettors. That would have had UVA covering the +14.5. Ouch! Tight one. Lucky they can review that when they didn’t throw a flag to begin with.

Consider the source.

As I'm casually watching ESPN's coverage of the bowl games they're discussing the game today between Texas and Utah. In one of their "special coverage" bits they chose to focus on Jaylon Jonson (Utah CB) and the impact he should have in the game today.

Why am I suggesting consideration of the source?

It starts with wondering how Jonson will have an impact when ...

SALT LAKE CITY — Jaylon Jonson has played his final game for the Utah Utes.

The junior cornerback, a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 honoree, announced via Twitter on Friday that he’s declaring for the NFL draft, and on Saturday, Utah coach Kyle Whittingham confirmed that Johnson will not play for the Utes in the Alamo Bowl against Texas on Dec. 31.

UK is lucky the refs didn’t call a penalty when their QB was taunting and pointing at a DB from the 10 yard line in to the end zone as he scored on that run. They’ve penalized teams for that before. Pretty blatant one. And they’d just penalized UK for taunting about 2 plays earlier. Get it together Cats.

What is the deal with UK and VT?
I've been wondering about that score in that one all day and just now had a chance to look. Yesterday I saw two sets of trending tweets on different "instances" before their game kicked off.

I have no idea who started the shit talk ... went overboard in every different venue or medium.

UK ... bottom half of the SEC this season. I'm guessing a seventh finish ... tied with a team or two.
VT ... top third of the ACC this season. I'm guessing a fourth finish ... maybe sole possession.

I think it's second divisional versus fourth. UK showed up.

Wow Tehas is really back 23 to 3

38 - 10. Was Utah just that overrated? Nah, Texas is back!
