🏈 GAME THREAD 🏆 Bowl Season 2019-2020 🏆

What did you see that makes you think they can score with LSU? Do you think the Clemson D can handle LSU? I do not. Lawrence pass completion at one time was < 50%. His legs made the difference.

LSU probably by 3 TD's.

I'm not convinced that LSU has played a bad game yet, perhaps the Auburn game? Was the Oklahoma game their best game thus far? Can they do it again vs Clemson?

Perhaps I'm minimizing what LSU has done this year, but I'm taking a 30000' view.

The game is in New Orleans - will this be an advantage or disadvantage for LSU?
Clemson is the underdog - they've been in this spot before.
Clemson has been on the big stage before. This is either a positive or a negative.
Does Coach Orgeron have another win in the tank?

I wouldn't bet my money on Clemson winning this, but I won't be surprised if they do for the above reasons.

Fair enough but at this point I think the Who is just hitting on all cylinders and playing with a ton of confidence. I think OSU would likely have given them a better game but hey that's why they play the game. You do not win 28-29 games in a row without knowing how to win. A few of those games were in the playoff so not all of the games were against ACC competition.

LSU/Clemson will definitely be strength vs strength.

Just checked the line and it is Who -4.5.

LSU looks like world beaters, but man it’s hard to bet against Dabo. Look at what he’s done. I never thought his team was that good this year but at the same time I thought OSU was a pretty darn good squad with talent everywhere. They played a tougher schedule, won bigger games and in more impressive fashion. But Dabo does what he always does, comes in and wins. Guy is a hell of a coach, no 2 ways about it. He’s built a monster program and will have Sunshine back one more year. So I’ll bet all my Bama bucks today that Clemson will he back in the final 4 again next year.

So much for OSU’s Heisman contenders.... They touted 3, where were those guys when the game was in the line.... Young had 2 tackles, 0 sacks. Dobbins, like 25 yards rushing the 2nd half, Fields 2 INT’s the 2nd half. Not Heisman worthy.

Well what did you learn to cook? I do that with ms RollllTide! When football is not on.
Not much, unless she was taking notes on the one called Chopped!! But like I say before, she has gone to the motel with me to watch the games and sometimes had to go to work. Now that I have better Internet I could have watched it all of the games, but after what she has done over the years i did what she wanted.

Now my take on the big game! I think Bama will win it, Ha Ha!! Now that one around Jan 13th? I think I will wait till it's getting a little closer!

I will have to go with the Shrimp Boat Captain's team in the big trophy game. Unless the LSU QB has a real shitty day then I am not sure Dabo's fine team can keep up. Burrow is throwing the ball so well and on target most all of the time. Add in that he places the ball up high where he receivers can high point the ball over those DB's that have to see the flight of the ball. Very few of Joe's passes hit the ground with most being catchable. The TE just makes it more difficult to contain that passing attack. I go with LSU 42 Clemson 34.

Have to give Dabo, staff, and team credit for hanging tuff in that 1st qtr (half) while OSU whipped um but had to settle for FG's. Salute to Kevin Turner's son for a play of the season on that pick.

LSU doesn't get in the red zone much. They score from the 30 to 30 yard line. Clemson has a great defense in the red zone. Still think LSU gets it. Clemson cannot keep up with LSU scoring. LSU stopped OU easily at first but later in the game OU was scoring on them. OU was terrible on defense and I believe Clemson will stop LSU more than you think. Think it might be 34-30 LSU. A very close game. The Hummer salesman gets it.

Can someone explain to me how they over ruled the scoop & score TD? I jumped into the shower thinking there is no way they could over turn that... Sure as shit it happened.

Looked to me like the Clemson dude took 3 steps after the catch with possession. I thought that was basically the rule... Guess not?

Clemson caught some huge breaks in that game. Bitter pill for tOSU to swallow.... Dabo should be thankful. If he beats LSU, can't do nothing but respect it..... RTR

The announcers said it was a catch but the replay showed he never completely tucked it away to me. It was very close but he bobbled it after he caught it.

LSU was firing on all 8 cylinders against Boomer yesterday.

OSU would have been alright if they only played 1 1/2 quarters, totally dominated but then the wheels on the bus came off. Clemson made plays and answered the bell when they had to make plays.

looking forward to the championship game and I am pulling for LSU.

The scoop n score that wasn't. Big change in that game. Couldn't believe it.
Come on. Lsu gonna hang a bunch on Clemson. Lsu just damn goas much as i hate to admit it
How did AU hold em down?

Lsu 56. Clemson 24

( i am mostly wrong so thats a good thing).

Would be 30 in a row for Clemson

Has anyone been paying to ticket prices?

A few days ago you could get a Sugar Bowl ticket cheaper than a Music City Bowl ticket...it had flipped the last time I looked with only a few dollars difference.

Ticket sales, based on secondary pricing and the markets, are holding their own this season.

There's a Q & A floating around out there ... official answer direct question. I saw it 12+ hours ago on Twitter. You may be able to find it. I'd like to read his response again.

...going down the road a few hours and ago while we're bullshiting I mentioned "I think he said they watched in regular time, slow motion, and fast forwarded/motion. Now I'm wondering...did he say fast motion?"

That may be a huge brain lapse this morning. I may have misread it, didn't read it, heard it in passing on ESPN, or one of another dozen possibilities. I do know this. I'm about of the opinion I'm officially "anti-instant replay."

(It may sound like a foolish thought. Perhaps it is. But I can't escape the idea of having a requirement that instant replay has to be viewed in regular time...'bout of the opinion scrape it but I won't live to see the day.)

If there's one take away from the game it's this.

SEC officiating did not look good last night. And that was their "choice" crew. A crew, if you didn't know, that called a recent Bama game and screwed it up as well. I believe it was Auburn. Check me out on it.

Yes, Ohio State has reason to be upset, but there's nothing anyone can do now. The LSU Tigers will meet the Clemson Tigers in the title game on Monday, Jan. 13. We just hope the Pac-12 officiating crew for that game doesn't make any major mistakes (a big ask, we know)!

Wasn't it the Big 12 crew that didn't call that pick again Clemson?
