Bama closed the half on a 7-0 run. Like TN yesterday, IMO, LSU played a bit over their heads in the 1st half. Example, they had just 1 turnover. I'll be disappointed and surprised if Bama can't grind them down in the 2nd half. Hopefully, UA can get to the foul line a bit more (just 0 for 1 thus far). They are letting them play for the most part, but Herb especially, was mugged a few times at the rim.

I’ll be happy if Bama finally breaks the Sweet Sixteen curse! It was so frustrating in the 70’s and 80’s and to be honest I stopped going to many BB games ... maybe one or two games every few years since the early 90’s. I’ve always held out hope the Tide would become relevant again on the hard court ... could this be the start? Seems like they have the right coach who’s getting some good recruits. Time will tell but going deep into the tournament this year could really help with recruiting. RTR!

Love this team. The seniors, the guys coming off the bench, the style on both ends... The LSU guys almost earned their money today, played the best game I've seen from them in a while. Meanwhile, Bama cuts down the nets, again. Oats is racking up performance bonus money like a pinball machine right now.
