🏈 GAME THREAD 🏆 Alabama vs Auburn 🏆 Saturday, CBS TV @ 2:30pm CST

I looked it up and the barn was not ranked in the AP poll in when we beat them in 2001.

According to the Week 11 (November 11, 2001) AP polls release, Auburn was #17. We played them on 11/17/2001.

That info was provided by ESPN they still claim as of this morning on game day we have never beat at ranked barn team in JH.
If you look up the highlights on Bama vs Auburn in 2001... you'll see the image at the bottom of this post.

Now, here's where I think the difference is found in what they are saying. Which poll are they looking at? I don't know this to be the case, just guessing, but is it a ranking in the USA Today/Coaches or the AP?

This is a huge game for Nick Saban. Since the shit the bed NC vs the Fighting Dabo's we've read about the Bama standard and how they don't get it done. We've played one really good team in 2019 and again they failed to get it done. Going into Barnville vs the 2nd best team we've played Nick and staff need to have this bunch ready and a win is very much needed. JMO but at least 2 assistants on his staff are coaching their next to the last game for The King and maybe they don't even get the bowl game since NSD #1 is in a couple of weeks.

There's one assistant I expect to move along. However, it's not something that's football related. It's personal issue that's given the man a tough time this season.
