TN gonna be a problem for us. If they allow Tn to play the type of aggressive maul ball they want to play we have no answer for that other than go 20-30 for three.

Also our overall defense has to step it up like they have played the last two games. We need at least a top 30 defense to have a shot at a deep run.

It is clear if we play a team with good bigs we are gonna have a problem as we don't have an answer for it. But I'm liking this team more and more the more I see them. The three game stretch against Zone, Creighton, and Purdue I think has served us well and doubt anyone can throw anything at us we haven faced so far this year.

A couple of notes...
-Battle of winless SEC teams on Saturday, Missouri at Vanderbilt.
-Tennessee plays at Kentucky... Either way that shakes out, is good for Bama, but a Kentucky win would be better.

Saturday’s schedule…

-I don't like playing at 11 am, but I expect Bama to play well against LSU.

-Would be nice if auburn rolls into Gainesville still high on their win over Bama... that's probably the only way they'll lose.

-Texas A&M could be very tricky for the Vols.

-Kentucky gets a very down to earth Gonzaga team at home.

Chalk this up to "things I learned today."

Auburn hasn't won on the road against Florida this century: the last time was '96. They are 1-19 since '88.

Odd stat for a blue blood program such as auburn...

Bama gets a well deserved mid week bye. Oats said today the focus will be working on defense for most of it.

-Huge game for Kentucky at home against Ole Miss. They need a win... bigly.

-Can South Carolina clip auburn at their place? I'd have to see it to believe it, but man I want to see it.

-Tennessee is coming off that loss tonight to A&M and will probably make a statement against the Hogs... but for some reason I feel like that game could be tricky for them.

Looks like this team has a good chance of resting until Friday.

In order of my preference for seeding. Bama at #1, #4, #2, and lastly #3. The three seed has a tough row to hoe: look at the time spacing between games. The one gets 24 hours of rest. The four seed isn't that lucky likely catching the five seed: but the point of this post is about rest.
