🏈 Trivia Question

It's kinda different for the Jags and Texans though. Texans aren't even 15 years old. It's more painful for Lions and Browns fans cuz the franchises are much older. Rust Belt struggles ..
Yes on the Lions, but just because the city held on to the name Brown. That to me is kind of funny, that all of the men that played for the Brown, or work for them went with them to Baltimore. But since the Brown still in Cleveland that I guess it's true for them too. But the Brown were also inactive from 1996-1998.

Saw that on the SEC logo twitter acct today. Found it hard to believe only 5 SEC QB's in 50 years.

Well 50 years is sort of misleading. Between those 5 QB's there are 8 victories over 50 years.

As often as we've seen PAC QB's drafted highly, as often as we've seen Heisman winners coming from the same conference, you'd think that the PAC would lead the way—by a large margin—when it comes to QB's and Super Bowl wins. BUT, it's not that much different than the SEC.

SEC: Eight SB wins with five QB's versus the PAC with nine SB wins with five QB's. (B1G has eight as well, by my count.)

Per school is interesting. There's only one school that has more than UA, Notre Dame with five. Stanford, Purdue, and La Tech have four along with UA.

I find that whole thing very strange. The original Browns franchise is the Ravens. Yet the reincarnation of steam called the Cleveland Browns has their history? I honestly don't understand. But I do know that one city who was historically screwed over (Baltimore's Colts moved to Indy) helped screw another over (Cleveland) ..

I feel for Browns fans in that they've suffered for a really long time (between losing their team and a lack of success). As an Eagles fan, I can relate (though we've had more playoff luck) .. No championship win since the 1960 defeat of Lombardi's Packers (his only postseason loss I believe). 56 years later, we are still waiting.

Could be worse. You could be an awbie that wins national championships about as often as Halley's Comet comes around. :-)
