Trent's already broken two records: rushing TDs in a season (20) and tied Mark Ingram for most 100 yard rushing games in a season (9) but he has a chance to break several other records in the bowl game. With 40 all purpose yards he'll tie the single season all purpose yardage record (currently 2,016 yards by Bobby Humphrey). He needs 75 rushing yards to tie Mark Ingram's single season rushing record (1,658 yards). He needs 1 TD to tie the single season Total TD record (24). He needs 39 carries (unlikely) to break Shaun Alexander's 1999 carries in a single season record (302). He would also need to have the greatest game in Alabama history to tie the career rushing record and career all purpose yardage record so thats unlikely.

I'm amazed at the amount of ESPN guys supporting Richardson for the Heisman tonight... man he deserves it for carrying this team.

He'd have to have over 400 yards to break the career all purpose yardage record, and over 300 rushing for the career rushing record i believe.
