I see you trying to point out that I post on here therefore I do engage in social media . However I do not consider this as social media as to where I’m not gonna post on my life , family , political views , relationship status. And then be judged by the life decisions I have made .

This is a sports forum that I can come and read about things going on in the BAMA community. And on occasion voice my 2 cents , that rarely comes to verbal attacks ( in the media form ) . I appreciate the fact that you want to prove a point . But we have two different definitions to social media .

I'm not picking on you, really. I've just heard this argument a few times and it's a complete disconnect for me. What specific category do you put Bama football in when discussing it? And how do you categorize the Crimson masses you're speaking to? Just curious.

I don't consider this social media. It has its abilities, but this is not a place people come to update you about their day, posting family pictures and things of that nature. Discussing a school is not social media to me, it's conversation. Social media to me is allowing people into your daily life and sharing that information freely. I consider this site nothing more than us talking like you would with your buddies through text messages or at your local watering hole. If you consider it that, then the internet as a whole is social media.

Why don't we just be honest and say it's not FaceBook, thank goodness, but otherwise hits every definition of what is social in our life and by greater definition, social media?

With the performance of Ingram over these past 4 years just what in the hell did he think the replies would be about him leaving?

Don't turn on the stove if you can't handle the heat
Personally, I'd would have to hope comments would remain on the mature side. I'm living in a dream world I suppose.

Which is a bit ironic considering his post was about "living out his dream at one of the best schools in America."

If anything, I look at these reactions as a case of selective memory. One of the best games of his career happened in a win against Auburn. Yet, that seems to be the farthest thing from their mind(s.)

He was in Tuscaloosa four years and graduated. Kudo's to the young man. While his time here was a bit frustrating on occasion, it's hardly fair to be met with so much hatred as we're seeing expressed on different venues.
