🏈 Top 10 defensive lines

From reading the captions, it seems they've created their list based on perceived impact of some young or injured players not so much experience. That seems odd to me.

Any who, being in the top 10 should be an honor but I have to agree that I think Bama has a better line than at least a few of the programs mentioned. I'm just not sold on Ohio State having world beaters on the line. Pitt? Call me sheltered but....really?

I agree with what another poster said, until our D-line proves it can pressure the QB, I am surprised they are in the top 10. If we didn't have Cody we wouldn't even be in consideration for this.....We also run a 3-4 and that doesn't help us in this category either.

In '92 we got unbelievable pressure from just 3 people. I watched a game from '92 the other day and Copeland and Curry were unbelievable!!.....I am wondering if we have the kind of people with a "wide-open" motor needed for the D-line pressure that Saban wants. And until they prove otherwise, I am reserving my evaluation of them.

I am sure the D-line will be adequate this season, but world-shakers is yet to be seen.:a:
