He's speaking facts. The powers that run college football and the NFL are so full of shit. If they were serious about player safety, they would cut the regular season by 3-4 games and give teams an extra two bye weeks. If they were serious about player safety, they would consider allowing defensive players to substitute. If they were serious about player safety, they would cut commercials to shorten the game by 30 minutes.
But nope, this is modern America, where bending over to advertisers and your shareholders is more important than maintaining and showcasing a quality product. It saddens me that this great game is being completely hollowed out by money interests.
