🏈 today is like no other day

I have never experienced a real national championship, I was too young when the tide destroyed the hurricanes (they were more like a tropical depression that day lol). I have been waiting for this day to come and it is finally here, for now I don't have butterflies, I'm not that excited, but in the few hours, the anticipation is going to rise, I will be bouncing off the wall in a little bit, lol. But in all seriousness I have a feeling that tonight is gonna be EPIC. You might ask yourself what day is this, well today in my book is JUDGEMENT DAY. I thought this day would never come, but today is the day. I'm ready, I've been ready ever since we killed florida. I just hope everything will go like we want it to go. I have more thing to say: win or lose, this war ends tonight! ROLL TIDE ROLL my brothers, lets go be champions boys!!! :a: :td:

I remember the Miami game that was a great day. Today is going to be even greater. #13 is going to be SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in the stands for the Miami game and was a junior there at the Capstone. Ah the memories!!! My son is as pumped as I am and he is only eight.

Today is a new day. 60 Minutes of Football tonight, 50 minutes of Punishment and 10 minutes of Salvation.

Our Boys are going off to fight for an outright BCS National Championship. This is possibly the only time that Alabama will play at the Rose Bowl in my life time. I wish I was there, but I sure as hell will be watching it tonight. ROLL TIDE ROLL.

thats about how i feel right now, gettin pumped up. i was only 5 or 6 the last National Championship this is actually my first real one too. been a long time coming and i already got butterflies! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!

I was 12 too, I was at the game I still remember singing all the way down the ramps from the upper deck. and yes wayy too long!!!

I go all the way back to the 1953 Orange Bowl (I was a Bama "lean" before then), so I have seen over half of them. That puts me at 0-4-1 in the Texas series also and I saw the last one at the Cotton Bowl in person.

I have said many times over the many years that I have been a Bama fan that I could die happy if Bama would do one of three things; beat Texas in football, win the CWS in baseball, or go to the Final Four in basketball(I would die then and there if they were to win the NC in basketball so I will settle for the Final Four there). So for me, it doesn't get any bigger than beating Texas for the NC in football.
