šŸˆ TJ Finely transferring from LSU to Auburn

What else is he supposed to go on?

If UA is indeed recruiting him, obviously they also believe he can play as well.

I'm with you in terms of I don't see this ultimately happening - But if he indeed has a committable offer, then that speaks for itself.
Things are kind of quiet on TJ. I expect things to heat up for most schools in the SEC once the vote is cast.

Speaking with him. Recruiting?

I know he's spoken with the staff. The interest? No one knows.

I seriously doubt that. Seriously.

The great Mark Grace (before you ask, former Cub/Diamondback) came up with the term when he played in Chicago years ago... He defined it as...
"A slumpbuster is if a team's in a slump, or if you personally are in a slump, you gotta find the fattest, gnarliest, grossest chick and you just gotta lay the wood to her. And when you do that, you're just gonna have instant success. And it could also be called jumping on a grenade for the team."

He's relatable to your generations Honus Wagner. ha Ha, joking. Just a dig at your age. He's a current Cy Young and World Series winning pitcher. Throws really hard, about 100mph.

Not quite that old.......aught to see some of my dads baseball cards from that era though....
Loved baseball....but after second or third strike gave up on it....

....some of my generation pitchers....
Sandy Kofax
Whitey Ford
warren Spann
Don Larson ( threw only perfect game in world series)...
Etc

world series would all be day games...
My mom would write down every play...and all us boys would run to my house...after school....and she would sit and read us play by play of the games..... that is a mom

It continues to look like TJ Finley could be making the move from SEC quarterback room to another.

The ex-LSU quarterback will announce his transfer destination Monday at 11 a.m. CT and has Auburn and Alabama among his four finalists, he told AL.com.

Penn State and Houston are the other two finalists.

ā€œEach school has given me an opportunity to compete for the starting job,ā€ said Finley, who entered the NCAA transfer portal May 6. ā€œBased on how comfortable I felt with that, I made my decision based off who I felt gave me the best opportunity to be successful.ā€

I believe he selects The Barn. He seems to be a little mad about LSU.........

While two of the finalists are non-SEC schools, Finley — who started five games as a freshman at LSU last season — did acknowledge that he’s been interested in potentially staying in the SEC and getting a chance to play against his former team.

ā€œAbsolutely. That’s been a major (consideration),ā€ Finley said. ā€œI’ve been blessed with that opportunity to be able to stay in the SEC and be able to see my former teammates a week every season.ā€

If the Barn lands him look for Heisman talk and how their new coach is now going to compete head to head with Saban. Would be the Barn propaganda machine doing what it does, blow smoke!!!

To me if Saban really wants him he will be in T-town. Now if he is more of an insurance policy that may come across to the kid and he could end up at the Barn.
