Tim Tebow

There's nothing to honestly dislike about the guy. All the criticism he takes and he sits there and proves everyone wrong on a line item by line item basis. If you aren't pulling for the guy you have some issues that need sorting. He's about the only person in the media spotlight that has kept his cool and integrity under thee heaviest criticism I have ever seen. The media favors the actions of Kim Kardashian over Tim Tebow, so that outta show you the ideals and morals of the media. Aside from taking Alabama out of the title race one year, there should be no grudge unless you're insecure about yourself honestly.

I hated him at Florida just because he beat Bama. But I have found myself pulling for him. I watched the Eagles game last night and he is like 4th behind Bradford, Sanchez, Barkley ... Not sure he will make the Eagles...first series went 3 and out. He did have a nice run up the middle. Idk. I have found myself pulling for him as an underdog in the nfl. The fans went nuts when he went in the game. It's kind of a weird phenomenon.

i always hated the way the media was just gushing over him when he was at florida. they acted like he could do no wrong and that he won all those games single-handedly; like the other 10 players weren't on that field with him.

Well that's the media, not him. That's exactly why so many people hate us and the SEC in general. The media is killing society on s serious all topics note.

He's very popular in Philly. When he came out for his first series in out first preseason game last week, you'd think Reggie White had come back from the dead. Never heard a crowd so pumped for a 4th string QB in a preseason game.

I think he has a decent shot at making the team. Good leadership, for one. He also deflects media attention but isn't a spotlight whore. He is also a tricky guy to plan for.

Chip is also shopping Matt Barkley (who was the best Eagles QB last week) so Tebow may be our QB3.

I don't hate Tebow, just people and the media slobbing over his knob.

Ditto. A christian, leader by example, hard worker, never say die, sounds like a life-long winner to me

I dont hate him, I just think he is a terrible NFL QB. Nothing more than that and I cant stand the ppl that want to prop him up for no other fact than he is a "good christian." He has gotten more chances to play in the NFL than anyone else at his position would with as terrible as he has performed the last several times he had a chance. Not to mention he refuses to change positions even though he might actually have earned an opportunity to be a contributor if he did so years ago. That also rubs me the wrong way because you cant truly love football as much as you claim to if you refused to switch from QB for a chance to keep playing.

I'd admire him for not playing another position just to stay in the NFL.

He won a playoff game against a pretty good defense (remember watching that game down in Baton Rouge with some LSU fans) prior to us playing in the MNC against LSU. More than Andy Dalton can say....

You can think whatever you want, but apparently NFL scouts think something else. Of course you have stunts like a team drafting Michael Sam, but you saw how that turned out. Tebow has been with multiple teams and given chances because teams feel he has something they can utilize. Who cares if he doesn't want to change positions. Would you switch careers right now if someone pushed you that way?

I've never seen anything indicating that he asks for all the media attention. Seems to me he can't help it.

And there's a ton of folks that talk about how bad of a NFL QB he is. Is he really that bad? He did win a playoff game. Name me a Bama QB that won a NFL game the past 20+ years. Or the last Bama player to win a playoff game. Tebow probably wasn't even born when that happened. He's as good as many of the 2nd stringers out there, probably better than some....

Yeah except since he was let go from the Bronos hes been relegated to second and third string with every team he has been with. He didnt make the Patriots team at all because of how terrible he was in camp and during the pre-season. He keeps getting chances because he sells jerseys and tickets. Nothing more.
