Alright so I know the waiting list for season tickets is HUGE but how long is the wait? Anyone on the list now? How long ago did you get on it? I have read some responses online that state there is a 98% renewal rate and some who have said they have been on since 2006.

I've not had season tickets myself, but my family has. When we started getting the tickets in 2000, we were on the list for about 2 years before that. It'd be safe to say that list is much larger now, but with the expansion's and whatnot to Bryant-Denny, I think you've got a better shot right now compared to previous years

The list remains long due to the popularity of the team. I was on the list for a few years and got mine in 2001 after the 3 win final season of Dubose. I have asked for 2 additional seats but with the arrival of Saban, a BCS title, and only 5 losses over the past 3 1/2 seasons no one is going anywhere.

The size of the stadium has nothing to do with it. People bought in as the stadium size increased. That thing could hold 200k and they still would have a wait list.

There were 8-10K still left on the waiting list when the N endzone was opened.

Sad thing is StubHub is literally overflowing with tickets in the NN and SS sections almost every game. It's almost like fans got in yet don't want to sit there. I haven't sat in those sections, so I have no idea how bad they might be. I got a call from Tide Pride back when the South upper deck was being added. The construction buffer zone ended up being less than they thought, so they opened up some Tide Pride seats. I was able to add 2-4 more, and like an idiot I only added 2 more. I know I had been on the list since the Shula days, but I couldnt' tell you the exact year.

The waiting list is a strange phenomenon that no one seems to know anything about for sure. Part of it is if you have the money you can shoot to the top pretty quickly. I'm talking $50,000 kind of money though.

I've had the same 2 seats in Sec B for 12 years now and there are seats to my left, right, and in front of me (Tide Pride section) that never have the same person in them. I know people buy season tickets and then sell them 2nd market to make a profit. I am on the waiting list to add 2 seats and constantly complain to Tide Pride that I want the two in front or to the left of me since the person that buys them never attends the game.
