Sort of missing the point there...six games a a team NEEDS rest.

A good break between game five and game six on your list as well.

On a side note, if we meet UF in ATL, it'll be their ninth game in a row without an off week.

We would definately be getting Florida at a good time. However, before all that we have LSU! A must win considering the way Ole Miss has been playing and all bets are off with Arkansas if LSU happens to win this weekend. They would need to win both of those games to go to Atlanta.

Good write-up, Terry! I am interested to see what has been implemented in the red zone attack. If we do get to the 1 or 2 yard line, I would love to see Cody get a chance to run the ball in. I don't believe there are any three players that would keep him out of the endzone.

That is a fine point to have made. However, if I look at the end of UF's schedule, it's not exactly a murderer's row. It's not like FSU is going to offer up too much of a fight. However, we will have just had a war with Auburn, which I fully expect this year. I hope we kill them, but 36-0 with subs in the third quarter doesn't seem likely. We are capable of beating them down.

Once again Terry you've put together an excellent piece. As a former coach, I often sit in stands or in front of my TV critiquing as a coach rather than as a rabid fan. I get quite agitated around other people who as we refer to as Monday morning QBs or Armchair QBs. I think the bye week often has more to do with the mental rather than the physical. Granted 5 SEC games in 5 consecutive weeks will wear you down physically as well. Thing is coaches breakdown film so much so that they can tell if a lineman passed gas before the snap!!! RTR!!!
