Yep, I could bust a lot of guys that way....Vinnie Sunseri comes to mind. He was sawing some major logs.
When Jessie came on I saw a look on Mrs. Saban's face that I hadn't seen before. I think he still surprises the Sabans at times.
If you hadn't guessed I had the pleasure of flying the team to the White House yesterday. Let me know if you have any questions. As always the team was polite, well behaved, and great representatives of the University. Several players were missing which was disappointing. I don't get it, but I know the draft has something to do with it and maybe for those draftees the fact that they were just there two years ago. Pretty much all players thinking of the draft weren't there including those like Hanks and Harris. A few others were missing as well such as Lester and Mandell (hate that!) I don't know why.
Most of the others were quite jovial yesterday and many talked more than I've ever seen. There were definitely no play books to study (at least for the players) and not even that many listening to head phones. It was a different level of their personalities I hadn't seen before.
As you could probably guess Coach was working entire time either on the phone or on his laptop. Little did I know he had already been to the hospital before arriving to the airplane at 0800. The man took about a 10-minute nap on the flight, and the flight attendants and I joked and said that was his sleep for the day.
