Sorry im new here from wollyal. Do you guys have a ticket thread? I am looking for 2 tix to Bama/Ole Miss. Anyone have any they are selling feel free to contact me.

Mine came in yesterday, although they were delivered to my dad's house and I will not see them until this weekend. I am rarely at my apt, so I have them delivered to his retired butt.

Henry, Drake, Cyrus Jones, Devall, Kelly, Ragland, and Allen are each on a game ticket this year. @bamachine, really surprised that UPS dropped them off with your dad. The UPS guy told me that they have changed policy AGAIN, and it must be signed for by the person. My guy always drops them off at my school where I teach, but he said that he isn't allowed to without my signature anymore.

Possibly because it was at a residence vs a business and he does share my last name. I double checked the tracking info and is shows him signing for them and he called this morning to say he had them.

UPS only requires a signature, not a signature of who it was addressed to. Rule 1 is deliver the package to the address. Rule 2 is, if required, get a signature. They always ask what the last name of the signer is so they can enter it into their tracking system. This way if someone says, "I didn't get it," they can tell you who signed for it. The trucks are GPS monitored so they can match the time of the signature to the address where the truck was.

@OldPlayer, the GPS system was something that the driver told me about yesterday. He said that his supervisor has told them that they aren't to "meet" a person to pick up the package. As for a signature, he said that they had to get the person to whom it is addressed now when it comes to UA tickets. In the past, he would drop mine off in the school office for me and I would pick them up at the end of the school day or on my break.

i just bought some off craigslist. Really wanted to go to bama Ole Miss game...first sec game....night game. Got 2 tix on u3 section section K. 45 yardline 3rd level. paid 375 also came with a coleman collisium parking pass. higher than i would normally pay but got parking and great seats. what yall think?

Probably around $180 face value for the tix and the parking. Seen worse fleecing before, probably couldn't have gotten them too much cheaper unless it was someone who knew and liked ya.

Consider that a steL unless you're willing to wait till after kickoff. Watch prices soar.

When we sell our tickets as a complete set, we charge a little more than we have in them, including the cost of having to belong to Tide Pride. That guy probably didn't charge much more than he had in them.

Of course, since you bought the off CL they are fake or stolen.

The wife signed for mine and my dad has signed for them in the past (at my house). I agree they aren't supposed to "meet" someone and my UPS guy told me they have to know that the person signing actually comes from the house (nobody working in the yard can sign for the tix). My UPS guy is pretty funny with my tickets. He'll ring the bell and just stand at the door like Vanna White with a big smile on his face. He knows what's in the envelope and always asks me, "you don't really want these, do you?"

My UPS guy and I joke about it being "gold!" I guess that each driver is read the riot act about these tickets but each driver probably their certain customers that they are a little bit more lenient with than others.
@BamaFan334, congrats on the baby! I know it may suck ass right now about not getting tickets, but enjoy that time with that little one while you can. My two are 13 and 14 and in the 7th and 8th grade. Shit! I'll be sending their asses to T'town SOON!!
