🏈 Thoughts on Donta Hightower

It is vastly different, 3-4 (Blount, Bennett, and McCourty) have openly said immediately after the super bowl they aren't going for a very specific reason. The other (Brady) didn't go because his schedule didn't allow for it.

I'm beginning to think you are outraged that Brady didn't go see Obama? Is that what this is all about?

No its not, they didnt go. They may have had different reasons but didnt go, period. Becuase that is their right just as it was Brady's, just as it was Michael Jordans, and so on and so on.

No, I didnt even know Tom Brady didn't go until like 2 weeks ago because I didnt (nor anyone else) care! I still dont care, it was his right. Im outraged over the fake outrage that people want to have about these players not wanting to go. It doesnt matter what their reason, they can and will do whatever they want in regards to the white house. No one has ever had an issue with athletes refusing to go the white house until right now.

I mean Larry Bird said "“If the president wants to see me, he knows where to find me,” and then he and several others Celtics didnt go see Reagan. No one cared and he is like a Conservative God to most Republicans. In 2013 Obama invited the 1972 Dolphins to honor the anniversary of that team and 3 of those players declined to go because they didnt agree with the Obama administrations policies. No one cared. Same thing happened when Obama invited the Super Bowl XX winning Bears and one of their guys didnt like Obama so he said he wouldnt go. No one cared. A Green Bay Packer refused to go because of the Monica Lewinsky crap in the 90s. The White Sox owner snubbed GW Bush because of his policies, again guess what? No one gave a crap. James Harrison told both GW Bush and Obama to piss off and no one cared.

This is only a thing because the people on the left are attempting to shame anyone for going to the White House because Trump is a hideous person (and they've also attempted to shame Brady for having a MAGA hat in his locker which I think is the epitome of what is wrong with our media) and the people on the right are trying to shame those that dont want to go because they dont like Trump (or any other reason) as being selfish. Its stupid.

Just gotta believe if Hightower goes about his business without needing to say it, nobody breaks a sweat on this. Now on a positive note, Hightower keeps reminding me what a great 2011 team we had.
