This is a repeat. I write this quote in my planner/journal at the beginning of each year to remind me that keeping score by someone else's gauge is a fool's errand. I'd forgotten to do it this year until @alabama mike cued me to go look for Demi Moore's acceptance speech. She quoted something similar: "I had a woman say to me just know you will never be enough. But you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick."

So, I watched the opening monologue and Moore's acceptance speech. More than I had planned, but both worthwhile.
