I know all the stuff about the money and his father being in his ear.......but I hate that Downs didn't stick around. I had high hopes for him. He seemed to be in the Fitzpatrick type mold. Kid is talented and will do well at OSU, but it still sucks. If you don't want to be here, then I don't want you here. Ya' hear!!

Yep he was the most dissapointing loss caused by CNS retirement. He is a studd and we could have used him. Next biggest loss from my perspective was Bonds but I think he is easier to replace and we likely already have done that..

Bond has no running mate to take focus away from him, so I cannot imagine a similar outcome for him at Texas. Worthy made first round due to his speed, not production.
