🏈 This is repulsive

After being informed of the accusations, Johnson told the ex-girlfriend that he had plans to “go upstairs and get his gun.” When she told him he could go to jail, he said “I don’t care, at least it would be for something good.”

So she get the restraining order, then goes to where he is to tell him? Or, what his gun upstairs when the man she has a restraining order comes over to where she is? Something is not right here.

Regardless of his role, she's not the brightest herself.

Meyers has not commented, but Kiffin just accused the Tackle of cheating on the girl.

I'm a little surprised the arrests at Florida haven't been more publicized. This latest one makes the 22nd player arrested during Meyer's tenure in Gainesville.

I know it doesn't come close to the number that started the infamous Fulmer Cup standings. But, they've had their share to say the least.

In Urban's defense, a lot of those arrests came from Zook's recruits. And we all know discipline and moral character wasn't very high on the Zooker's list. I'm not excusing the evident problems that the program has, just pointing out that little tidbit. As for Johnson, yes if what has been reported is all true, then I'm sure he'll be dealt with appropriately. Still this isn't nearly as disturbing to me as the Jamar Hornsby case.

My point wasn't a judgment on Meyer or discipline at UF.

It was a statement about the lack of exposure.

It's about like things out at USCw. They sit in the 2nd largest media market in the country and there if very little coverage about things around that program. Lendell White's attempted suicide comes to mind. Put a different name, say a Glen Coffee as example, and the stories would be nationwide for weeks.

I couldn't agree more. The press out there, and the national 'media' don't cover negatives for USCw because they wouldn't want to harm their golden goose. Back page coverage is no coverage at all. Can anyone say Reggie Bush and the NCAA? Oh that's right, they didn't really cover that.

It's an odd form of 'racism' but it's there because they look down their noses (whether they know it or not) at us poor dumb southerners.

Don't really get a chance to do this that often, but I whole-heartedly agree. After nearly a decade in Los Angeles, you wouldn't believe the stories that don't get printed. Did you know that Marcus Allen had his face rubbed into the concrete in Beverly Hills? It's hard to tell who is worse, the media or the rest of 'em. That's my blanket statement for the day.
