Some of you might have seen this article already. Bryce Brown is another one of the growing list of high school athletes that has surrounded himself with a "posse". If having that wasn't bad enough, it's the O.J. Mayo-type of posse. He's basically got an agent who controls him, controls access, controls recruiting, and controls the coaches. Of course, he's not an "agent", because that would be against the rules. But you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out.

This might be the best thing that ever happened to Alabama if Auburn were to actually get this kid. Him and his agent could probably single-handedly destroy the program themselves if we give them enough time.

Even the kid's high school coach said his "me first" attitude was a serious detriment to the team last year. Said this leech that is controlling him "advised" him to coast in games after he had sufficiently padded his stats.

Anyone else remember that last year the brother of this young man made a recruiting visit to Tuscaloosa (official or unofficial I do not remember) - and this player came along.

There was much talk that the two Brown brothers would be a package deal and the elder brother, a LB, gave us a real shot. The older brother eventually ended up at THE U (Miami).

We dodged a bullet perhaps?

With the recruits waiting until after NSD lately, I expect the NCAA to implement a rule. These "top prospects" get too full of themselves. I hope Auburn gets him too, he's obviously seeking something more then 3-4 year scholarship.

Got a buddy who played at the highest level of ball at Kansas. This year was his senior year and he quit to focus on track (kid can fly). He said he's not "all that he's cracked up to be" and that his team could smoke them. He has 3 rings, so I'll take his word.
