I'll never forget how mouthy many of their younger fans were in Miami outside the stadium before kickoff. For some, it was the alcohol talking, but it was funny walking around and listening to them and knowing they were being led to a slaughter.

Can we use the high school continuous clock mercy rule in the second half?

I remember watching the Notre Dame pep rally before the BCS Championship game. Lou Holtz ran his mouth along with a few others, but the one that got me was Mike Golic. I get he had a son on the team but the trash he was spouting was pretty damning considering at the time he was co-hosting a somewhat respected ESPN show. I never got to hear any remorse or comeuppance from him. I never watched the listened to that show again. What a clown.

He was borderline able to play yesterday, but hadn't practiced any. Not sure he'll play against ND, but probably could. I think he'll likely play in the CG if we get there. By all accounts he's 100% about wanting to play. Short of getting a more serious injury, playing or not playing won't have any real effect on his draft status. He just wants to play.
