Who said anything about a 3-9 year? Who gives a crap about supporting a coach? What does that have to do with class?
You are why people think if you live in the south, you are stupid.
That comment about living in the south just was not necessary.
Look, supporting a coach during a REAL tough loss is part of demonstrating class. Class isn't just applicable to success but also failure. This issue, IMHO, is the biggest liability that 'Bama has in regards to coaching. We (including me) tend to really take this stuff too seriously, & many folks get thrown under the bus way to quickly. CNS will be the first, he has BTW, to admit that it all falls on him. He doesn't blame players or other coaches (see Mack Brown). The biggest thing we need to keep in perspective is that CNS has earned the benefit of the doubt. He cannot be perfect ALL the time. He was last year & almost perfect in 2008. We like those kinds of seasons (especially when we beat the crap outta AU) but the way life goes it will not always be that way.
Now it isn't my intention to be critical of you. Believe me, I see your points. But CNS deserves our support. He has earned it. Heck, he has been prognosticating this type of team b/c of the lack of maturity from day one. That point makes it a bit agitating b/c he has known about this problem & hasn't been able to get it fixed. I believe what we have seen on the field is not a talent issue but a maturity issue. It just takes time I'm afraid. However, if next years record is the same or worse then I'll begin to be concerned. I don't like how this season panned out but I do give a crap about supporting our coach of which I'm gonna do with pride.
