The stat most mentioned with LSU is their winning percentage at night in Death Valley. Those losses are primarily to the Tide. The main issue with their record at night is which teams they are playing at night. When it comes to the marquee match-ups, like Bama, Florida, and Auburn, the majority of the time CBS has those in the afternoon slot. LSU's track record then isn't something to really brag about.
Bama and LSU first played in primetime on CBS in '11 when Bama lost the OT game. Since then...well, you know the record. And, quite frankly, since 2007 (CBS afternoon game) there's been more years where LSU wasn't a national story when the two teams played than years where the game actually had an impact on the SECW.
