I'm on the South Khakilacki train and have been since Bentley's Freshman year. They have a solid opportunity in front of them. If Samuels and Bentley can stay healthy, South Carolina can pull it off. If they can get by Georgia, early in the season while they're breaking in a new defense and a lot of new offensive players, it could be a great start for the boys in Columbia.

I'm looking forward to the Drew Lock and Tua Tagovailoa extravaganza at BDS. If it goes as I think it will, Tua will be the man in the SEC.

I know that Mullen has done well with what he had at MSU, but I think I put USCe over FU right now. I can see USCe winning the east if they get by UGA in the second week of the season. I still think Carolina loses another game down the road. While I think Muschamp is a good DC and seem to be a pretty good XO's guy. I don't see him having the psychological aspect down that keeps guys focused and hungry to win week in and week out.

I think that is difference with Saban and all the other coaches in recent years to have won a championship. I'll give Swinney a pass because it is still early, but look at guys in the past 10-15 years. Stoops, Miles, Spurrier, Fischer, Meyer, Brown. After they reached the pinnacle, they fell off and remained close.

I think that Meyer is probably close, but he does better building as opposed to maintaining.

I don't expect this big of a drop. The average did come as a slight surprise.

Since SEC expansion in 1992, Auburn has won 10+ games 7 times. They've not only failed to win 10 games the following year every time, Auburn, on average, sees their win total drop by 4 games the year after winning 10+.
