There's good and bad here in my view. You're going to see teams "beaten up." But, automatically, you'll see NET and RPI rankings get a boost for tourney bids.

I’ll keep track of the regular season, but I rarely if ever watch a regular season game. Now college basketball games are pretty good live!! The last BAMA game I attended was in ‘88 (wimp Sanderson). Now I’ve been to few North Carolina games, in recent years(a good friend would get tix and my daughter used to live in Raleigh). Never got to see a Duke game though (my daughter worked at Duke medical)

The BIG 10 has done this and I think they've benefited from it. Conference games in general have higher attendance, so I don't think it's a bad move.
