Be split screen for morning games. Ole ms- Florida. Indiana- osu
I thought you were a Direct TV guy. YTTV is the split screen thing...does DTV do that now?Be split screen for morning games. Ole ms- Florida. Indiana- osu
Am I the only one that thinks Ohio State wonāt win big over Indiana? Not because they canāt⦠Iāll be very surprised if they blow them out. Iām not suggesting the conference will give them orders, but some things could go unsaid. But Iām seldom right on my picks. Iād be playing Indiana with the points.
Agreed. If Bama players had any other mindset I would be concerned. I would expect Bama fans to have the same mindset.
As I understand it, the 4 highest ranked conference champs get the first round bye, so, if a group of 5 conference champ is ranked higher tha a P4 conference champ, the G5 cc would take one of the top4 spots.Do the Four P4 conference winners get the top 4 spots? Or does it still go by rankings?
Have it on my tv. Just choose any 2 stations.I thought you were a Direct TV guy. YTTV is the split screen thing...does DTV do that now?
Good way to put it..but...i aint betting against the Gators....and they been kinda hot lately.I'm thinking the O teams win big.
You n Tennessee coach?????I believe that OSU wins, but I believe OSU, if given the chance, doesnāt try to throttle them. They would probably prefer IU make the playoffs and if theyāre up 21 in the 3rd, might slow the game down and try to run clock versus score. Just a hunch though. Officials may come in to play on the field as well. And Iām no conspiracy theorist in real life. Iāve seen some calls late in conference games this year that make me wonder, though. I may be alone in this boat, and Iām fine with that.
Interesting idea.

A unique SEC Championship idea perfect for the new era of college football
The SEC has always been a forward-thinking league. In 1992, the league hosted the inaugural conference championship game pitting undefeated Alabama against Florbamahammer.com
When this current agreement is up after next season, I think we can look for one change to be that the top 2 SEC and B1G teams locked into the 12 team playoff (and likely eventual expanded playoffs) by rule, going into Championship weekend. So basically, if Alabama and UGA are the 2 teams playing for the SECCG and Ohio State and Oregon are playing for the B1G Championship, all 4 are guaranteed spots, not just the 2 teams as it stands now. And I'd bet the tie breaker rules, at least in the SEC, will be looked at as well and changed to possibly place a higher emphasis on the teams that play stronger OOC opponents (or some such similar).
Isnt it going to 16 teams soon?
Midwest Conference in DIII did something similar for many years when there were just 8 teams. They played a 7 game conference round robin schedule and then their eighth conference game was 1vs2, 3vs4, 5vs6, and 7vs8 in the championship week.Interesting idea.
