Went to Walnut Park Elem in the 6th grade. Also lived in the Mill Village and Alabama City.

Used to ride my bicycle over to Shaneyfelts (bootlegger) to get beer.

Joined the Navy to get out of Gadsden.

Growing up in Walnut Park, Alabama City and the Mill Village, I would have figured you'd joined the Navy because you were tired of fighting.

gadsden is not too bad i guess.. i grew up in rainbow city and rent an apartment there now.. i did get robbed at gunpoint off south 11th street one night, but i blame myself for my origional intentions.. anyway, lesson learned.. i used to spend alot of time on the rocks atop noccalula mountain.. there is some beautiful scenery up there.. the whole area from there up north 59 is very beautiful..
