Will be the most surprised I've been in ages if Milroe is starter coming out of spring. Tons of talent but not sure it will translate to college game on a consistent basis.

In the right offense (with the right team) and with the right QB coach, he could put up some monster numbers IMO.

I like Milroe and think he’s a hell of a ball player, but I fully expect him to transfer after spring because I fully believe Ty is the starter going into spring and I’m not sure it’s even close

Milroe has to improve as a passer, agreed. However, let's put this in a little broader perspective than our recent QB productivity. The next starter will follow Young (who if he had a similar receiving corps as his three predecessors he would be the all-time leader in completion percentage, IMO), who was preceded by our actual two most accurate passers in history in Tua and Jones. If Hurts was going to follow Young, would his 60 percent completion rate as a Freshman have anyone excited? I would add that Hurts' receiving corps bailed him out on many, many inaccurate throws.

All this to say Milroe can and should improve, but given our last three QB's, we are spoiled on accuracy.
