The Rowdy One
Staff
The one from last years Alabama - Tennessee game ranks right at the top for me, the crowd going crazy and my dad sitting next to me with a sigh of relief

Man, thats a tough one. Most exciting.

- In 2002 when Peprah took the ball from the UGA WR and raced down the sideline at BDS I jumped about 2 rows down. Thats about the loudest I have ever heard the stadium.

- Anytime Javy got the ball on a punt return in open space.

Ingram's TD to seal it agaisnt SC and nearly fainting from exhaustion (really that whole drive):

George Teague's '92 interception in the Sugar Bowl.
The Kick.
Antonio Langham's interception in the '92 SEC CG against Florida.
Mike Shula's TD pass to Al Bell in Athens to cap the come-from-behind win on the road.
(Wish I was old enough to remember the Goal Line Stand, 'cause I'm sure that would be up there as well.)

Over all "The Kick" and the great play by Richardson to get out of bounds that set up Tiffin.

In person, 1969 Bama versus FSU. Late in the first half Stabler under heavy pressure laid one out about 55 yeards to hit Dennis Homan in the end zone and get us back in the game. Steve Tensi and Fred Biletnikoff carved us up all night, but Stabler got us a 37-37 tie. For a non Bama win that was the most excting Bama game I've been to.

Most exiting I've ever seen in person:
Alabama vs LSU 1998: Comeback in Death Valley

Honarable mention:
Alabama vs LSU 1999

on a side note i missed hearing the anouncers say "Booty to Booty"

The most exciting "Non-play" i've ever seen (on TV)
George Teague: The Strip

Too many to just name one, but this deserves to be mentioned... it sure set the tone that day...

One of the most exciting plays that will always stand out in my mind, as a game I was at, was the 1996 Kitchens-Riddle td pass to beat Auburn in Birmingham. The next time we played them in Birmingham, 1998, we won that game as well, if I recall. And beat them in Auburn in 1999. Lost ugly in 2000, pounded them in 2001 in Auburn, then the looooooonnnngggg drought began. Thank God that ended in 2008.
