Oh geez...making me think here.

Our starters that year were Menzie, Barron, Lester, and Kirkpatrick. Menzie went the second day if I recall correctly. 5th round? I think Lester was an undrafted free agent, wasn't he?

I'd be curious to find out who has the most starts in the NFL out of that group. I'll see if I can find out.

I think there was an injury & he has blossomed into the spot. But he is certainly starting now.

He started 4 games I think, Barron started 14 games this year and 16 last year. Menzie wasnt even in the league this year, and Dre has just 3 career starts (all this year, at the end of the year), and Dee had 12 starts as a rookie, Lester started just 4 (played in 12 tho) so yeah Barron by a mile.

True on the edges...but that brings us full circle back to our defensive backfield. We had good containment with Dre, Robert, and Mark when it came to teams trying to get to the corners. Milliner was beginning to come into his own backing up Menzie at that time as well.

If you think back about it, one of the reasons we lost that game in 2011 to LSU is they were able to get to the corners with Jefferson. (Reminds me how good of a job Jerrell did that season with little to no recognition.)

It didn't happen twice, though, did it. :biggrin_blue:
