JTT is the #1 overall rated recruit in this most recent class, but has said all along that he would take his 5 official visits before making a selection. I believe he has already been to USC, Washington, and Oregon and arrived in Columbus, OH on Friday. Just check out the cringe worthy/bush league shit that HC Ryan Day and staff did. Does anyone see CNS doing that next weekend when JTT comes for his 5th and final OV? LMAO!!!

Considering OSU is considered third in the race for his signature they needed to pull out as many stops as they could. No other choice.

#2. Wearing a themed shirt in honor of the recruit’s culture, along with offering him a luau. I think they mean offering him a lei (a garland or wreath common in Hawai'i and across Polynesia. More loosely defined, a lei is any series of objects strung together with the intent to be worn. Lei of various styles are given as gifts to honour people throughout the Pacific, being presented, for example, to visiting dignitaries, graduates, or to loved ones who are departing). A luau is a traditional Hawaiian party or feast that is usually accompanied by entertainment. It may feature food such as poi, kālua puaʻa (kālua pig), poke, lomi salmon, ʻopihi, and haupia, beer, and entertainment such as traditional Hawaiian music and hula.

If he’s looking for immediate gratification, ”feel good”, and it’s all about me, tOSU would be the place for him. Two things here, if they continue to treat him like this as a signee, he will never reach his full capability. If they don’t, he will see this for what it is, a publicity stunt and he will regret his decision. Actually, the adults here should be ashamed. How could he not feel like a prostitute if he signs there?

In the video the OSU selling point was how he could be a sack specialist there but not at Alabama, didn't mention that Will Anderson had twice as many sacks as any OSU player last year
I understand what you're saying here but it's supporting their point. Anderson is a linebacker and they mention how the defensive lineman for Alabama are "pluggers" allowing the linebackers to roam free. You'll notice how they mentioned Chase Young (who led the nation in sacks in 2019.)

Question is.....do linebackers, on average, make more money than D lineman? We have put a ton of DL in the NFL and they are rich too.

The rookie contracts are based on draft order, not position type. If an OL gets picked first, his contract is the highest. If a DB is picked highest, his contract is the highest. It’s a sliding scale for any other draftee based on where they’re drafted. After their rookie contract it can be more based on position and skill level.
