🏈 The Heisman Voting (Tua in 10th) Burrow with resounding win, and some odd votes.

IF he comes back, he'd have to play the entire season as history has proven the last two years. Odds aren't in his favor.

Right. Cant play and be effective worrying about getting hurt.
Got to ball
But Tuas injuries all this year if he would have just thrown the ball away when there was nothing there. I know he isn't that kind of player but to survive at the next level he will have to accept it
Against msu he had 2 chances before he go damaged to just throw it away

This is so accurate. Every time the "Tua is fragile" thing comes up I bring up this reality. Tua tries to make something happen on every play and does not give up on anything until it is too late most of the time. This means he takes unneeded hits and many of them will be while stretching for extra yardage or trying an acrobatic throw. He really does need another year to learn when to slide or just throw the damn ball away.

Great it was someone from the SEC? Top three are all transfer players? But do you know that some are still upset about McCaffrey losing out to Ingram?
He didn't, he lost out to Henry. Gerhardt lost out to Ingram. Ingram was about 100 yards less that Gerhardt but his yards were like 75% after contact, Gerhardt was like 30% after contact.

Well I was thinking it was Ingram.
It is easier for me to remember because I spent a bunch of time arguing with non-Bama fans about why Ingram deserved it over Gerhardt. Now, no matter what a POS he would turn out to be in the NFL, Suh had a legot argument for winning it over Ingram. Then again, it never goes to a strictly defensive player or an OL, no matter if they are the GOAT at their position.

Ingram averaged 174 yards against like 5 ranked teams that year ...the biggest case any Heisman winner could make. Henry came up big in our biggest games too. Alot of people had agendas both of those years and u could see it as they ignored the stats and facts. BTW gerhardt did NOTHING in the NFL , while both Derrick and Mark have done quite well. It's funny when the argument was made recently about who "DBU " is between Ohio St, lsu , and Florida. Someone pointed out that Bama actually has more dbs in the NFL right now than any , and most of ours are among the league's best.

Over the last few days I've read some comments on voters and odd choices. I believe this years ballots had 20 voting Chase for Heisman. Two were mentioned as having one of Auburn's defensive linemen in second.

It's as if it has become an undefined award; college football version of Time's "Person of the Year" edition. Where else are the weird votes/votes coming from other than an voters' "one shining moment?"

Luckily...there are lots of voters.....kinda dilutes the "wierd votes"....
Really haven’t seen a winner......in Heisman.....that wasnt the most deserving...in recent history
...i felt.
Since Manning came in second ( i cant stand him...but really...)... ..
And I always felt AJ would win if only they had beaten AU in 13.... Maybe not...but...

I really think the voters got it right this year with Athens, Ohio native Burrow winning and the votes back it up. Overall, I do feel Chase Young is the best defensive player in the country right now. I know he missed two games for a violation of NCAA rules but this young man can flat out play some football. Congrats to Jalen on an outstanding season and career. This young man oozes class in every facet of a college football player and young man.

WSJ article today talking about how HTW Burrow only takes online graduate courses at LSU, doesn't even set foot on campus, only the stadium. His own players are quoted as saying they've never seem him go to a class or walk on campus, wouldn't attend events with them, etc. Dude was there for one purpose, and it worked out well for him.
