I so disagree with you in this instance Bo. It did get chippy at the end of the game for certain but I saw AU cheap shots throughout the game and only saw UGA in retaliation mode.

I have to agree with BamaFan. UGA didn't start out playing thuggish. After the first 2 late hits on their QB, honestly they should have went into retaliation mode a lot sooner. I didn't see UGA really start poking back until the 4th quarter. In this case I have to agree with the leghumper nation. AU was downright playing thuggish the entire game.
I certainly hope our team don't allow McElroy to be driven into the ground, take hits in the back and NOT retaliate. Classy or not, there comes a time where you have to take matters in your own hands since the damn SEC officials won't stop it.
I think the reason that UGA didn't retaliate quicker was the fact that they were still in the game. By the 4th, it was pretty much over for them and they were playing for pride. The continued play by the barn caused UGA to start "defending" their own.
