I’d like to start out by saying thank you to Pork Chop for letting me and Drew aka rolling tide come over last night and watch the game. It was great to be in the presents of fellow Crimson Tide fans. Chops two boys where just as happy to be watching and talking about Alabama football as any fan I’ve ever known. Those boys are going to be great men someday Chop! Not only does this prove that (to ME at least) we are a family. Pork Chop opens his home to strangers from Alabama. Which that old boy can cook some dang fine ribs! HMM Good! We talked about the site, football, bear, and of course the game. I loved it. It was almost like being back home in the south were people are nice and love to talk about football.

What a great game last night although we had some negative spots. I’m glad we did, I don’t want us to sip the Kool-aid. This kind of scares me because now we have such high hopes and have climbed so far there’s only 1 of 2 places to go. Either we keep climbing or we fall, but today is a great day for us all enjoy it.

Remember one thing, some of us live a long way from Alabama. 3000 miles for me, chop, and roll. We still can come together and talk about our team that’s what it’s all about. Meeting new people, sharing good times and watch our team whip some butt. That to me is what ALABAMA football defines to me as a fan. We should all take time to be proud that are family and not some no class leg humper or orange prison fan.

BTW Chop and to you wife as well thank you both for you service

Lastly be happy if you can get Sausage and Gravy biscuits! I’d kill for it! :D

Yep, I've been hearing that Chopper can do some cooking.

Glad that y'all were able to get together in Cali and cheer the Tide on.

When we lived out in Phoenix, there was a group of us Bama fans that would get together for the televised games. Made football season out there away from the South more bearable.

I heard that the more you hang out with Porkchop, the more likely you are to get yourself some "sausage and gravy" action -- if that's what you're looking for. :D

It is nice to be around fellow tiders is it not? Just makes the game more fun, to pull for you team share things that you love. Was a great time, and yes those where some might fine ribs. Although DREW is now the president of the JPW fan club, after last night JPW has grown up in my book.

We even talked about you too Bear facts. Just who is that bluegrass man? I was wondering you got a u tube link. I like Bluegrass myself.

Sausage is readily available in California...as are flour and milk.

If you cannot combine the three and make biscuits with sausage gravy, it sounds like a personal problem :)

Grits are a whole other story.

Yep, ole Chopster is a good man. His wife and kids are great people also. Proud to be around a bunch of great people here. Glad you all got to watch the game together.

Roll Tide!!

Yeah Optimus, Drew (the_rolltide) and me had a blast. I'd spent most of the day on the smoker getting the ribs going and then I see Optimus drive up on his Harley and I'm like....."we're gonna need a bigger ribs". Seriously man, it was like Roy Scheider in JAWS. Had a ciggerette hanging by my bottom lip and everything. Okay, not really, but Optimus is a big ol boy. I thought we'd be in trouble with the food so I told him and Drew they had to go down the street to the market and pick up some sausages or some fruity pebbles or Spam or something! Just get more food!

Ol Drew's a character too. Had a blast last night listening to him (jokingly...I think :? ) prop John Parker for Heisman. He kept me and Optimus rolling. One of the most interesting things about watching the game with the_rolltide was that he's a hgh school official himself, so when he watches he's explaining what the call is about to be based on who throws the flag and from what area of the field. He'd make the call before the ref on t.v. did. I thought that was pretty interesting. Kinda like watching a ball game with a football coach r something. Provides a different and unique perspective on the game.

On a side note, you guys might have seen him on t.v. a few weeks back. If anyone caught that ESPN high school game between Mader Dey (sp??) and Carson High School from over here in my area you would have seen Drew calling that one. Pretty cool.

Bamafan4ever, if you're reading this, tell your boy he's off the hook now. Gabriel went and took up with Drew so Eric's yesterday's news.

Yeah we had a good time and I was glad to have the guys over. Just FYI Optimus, looks like both the UK and Ole Miss game will be available for us to watch. Let me know if you want to watch one of them at your place.

good reading material here

Sounds like it was a good ole time. a$#

I didn't know so many were in Cali. I don't know how y'all make it over there. :?

Love to have you guys over. If you want to bring the boys I've got a Xbox 360 they can play! Plus, you know I'll have food! Told you I was big, well hook up for the game!
