I've had the urge to buy one of these drones for a while now. When I was in San Diego a few trips ago for business, I was on Coronado and there was a guy flying one of these across the bay to the edge of downtown. He had a monitor on a tripod that he could watch things from. Almost pulled the trigger right after that just because of the cool factor...but I've been able to resist the urge to buy it.

I've been wanting to take a trip out to Big Bend one of these days and a drone would be awesome there...however the government nixed that idea when they "temporarily" banned drones in national parks. Next summer we are planning a 2 week trip from San Diego up to Seattle...would be pretty cool there as well, but carrying it around would be a burden.
