Read the wording in red. It indicates that he was arrested after the incident & fired.

However, I take the source as internet board chatter. The AP needs to bust their ass to confirm his account. It has HUGE implications for either side of the aisle IF it happenned the way he says.

They probably fired him because they wanted a lot of dead people first.. and he foiled it… and he may have took the shot without permission..

IF the account is true, it seems very clear that it was taken without permission. Which is ridiculous. Hell, he should have shot him sooner in my opinion.
