Where is Ole Miss? We've had the horses, so you can't turn a blind eye to it being them. This year we haven't had the line, so to achieve that similar ranking shows either an improvement in scheme or they are getting more out of this group.

In my view, it's an intellectual versus attitude discussion. Pete is a good DC. He knows schemes. Steele is an attitude guy. I've been pointing to this for a few weeks now. There's an attitude.
I don't really care for what I've seen out of one WR. But, there's an attitude. From my perspective, it's seeping through the team on a weekly basis. I don't think LSU knows what's coming.

I would agree! Steele brings a hard nosed take no shit attitude and the guys are playing with that. Pete, IMO was a little slow to react at times with getting calls in to the defense. I feel as if Steele has a “backup call” should a team go tempo.
As for the attitude of one WR, I know which one you speak of and it chaps my ass to see it when he directs it towards the opponent. The donkey kick Saturday should’ve warranted an ejection in my opinion, if not that, at least an Unsportsmanlike penalty.

I'm more simple minded than that. To me Steele is a more "Damn the torpedoes, full steam" ahead kinda coach when it comes to making the QB shit his pants, where as PG is a more "mush rush, watch this adult film" scheme that gives the QB's better wood than Yella Fella.

No, I want to know if he was able to make them better. If so, how much better.
Did the research and they are up 1 place for 57 in 2022 to 56 in 2023. Two point difference which is good. I would imagine that total drops a hair with Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Louisiana Monroe on the schedule.

It’s Burton all day long!! As far as Brooks goes, I’ve heard injured. Don’t know if there is any truth to that or not. I know I’ve seen him on KR back there with Law.
Given the history of my posts you probably would not be surprised to say the D is still not getting it done at times . 20 points and almost 300 yards in one half? I know they have shut teams down but then they do things like that. Same thing in Texas and Ark games. It may be #4 but elite D should not let that happen in my view. Statistics may not back up my claim but it is how I view it. I base this on past great Bama D's. I guess even those D's had a hiccup game (see Ga Southern in 2011 and NC game in 2016).
@mando if you look around you'll see that college football is starting to return to "mud ball." It's going back to a between the hashes game. At leas for this season.
Scoring, overall, is down. (Same with the NFL, btw.)

I sense that is happening. I just want a D that the other team comes into the game knowing they are not going ot run the ball. A D that stresses the offense and changes how they play. Speeds them up and forces them into things they are not comfortable doing because the D takes away what they do best.

He is one that hit the girl...because he was afaid...after tennessee game last year...
He a stud athlete...in full football gear...and her...a 110 pound female...and...he was afraid
A receiver having an attitude isn’t a bad thing, tempering his temper is the only issue I see here. Don’t want it to cost us a game in the future with penalties.
Brooks has been really quiet this year I’m hoping he returns and adds something opposite Burton to give us more of a 1 and 2 with bond wreaking havoc in the slot
