Anybody that says they're "glad" he aint comin to Bama is delusional. Dude is a beast and will be a beast at SC.
I'm glad Bryce Brown didn't come, Reggie Bush too. Maurice Clarett, Marvin Austin, and Carlos Dunlap at three more. I'm glad James Brooks didn't choose to be a stoo-en/athlete with us and that and that Art Schlichter rolled the dice with Ohio State.
All were football studs but became issues for their chosen universities. So in deed there are cases where it is not delusional to be glad that your school is not chosen.
I can no more prove that Clowney will be the next name of my list than you can prove that he will be the next beloved legend. The point of the comments, as I read it, is that there was enough "red flags" to raise concerns that Clowney was far from a total-package homerun that some believe.
I too think that there is enough to be concerned about, and with the talent that we have in house BAMA is one of the very few teams that does not need to roll the dice on this kid in order to have a shot at it all. We don't need him.
