this team really showed alot of heart finishing this season off the way they did.. our coaching staff showed once again that it is the best in the nation..

there is alot of pride in crimson today..

the line of scrimmage dominated.. and we tackled like i have never seen.. Gmac went out with a perfect game.. eddy lacy is freaking huge.. upshaw looks like a top 10 pick.. dareus was back to his old self..

the list could go on and on..

bottom line: that was a completely dominate game against a top 10 opponent.. even the most critical fan would have a hard time finding a single flaw with that performance.

For the first time all season, the Tide played 60 minutes against a good team. They showed flashes against Florida, LSU, Arkansas and Auburn. But they couldn't seem to put together a whole game against a good team until today. This is the best game they've played since the 2009 SECCG vs Florida.

I'm sure the players ALL felt like they had something to prove, after the collapse vs Auburn.

What it means: The Crimson Tide (10-3) waited until their final game, but finally got that complete game they’d been looking for all season. Even though they lost three games this season, there’s no doubt this was one of the most talented teams in the country. They just weren’t as consistent as they needed to be, but put it all together against the Spartans to win at least 10 games for the third straight season. Alabama will be one of the favorites to win the SEC next season, especially if the Crimson Tide can keep some of their underclassmen from going pro. Defensive end Marcell Dareus, Jones and Ingram are the most likely to make the jump.

is it just me or did hightower seem to get faster as the year progressed?

i think he is still getting back to normal.. assuming he returns i see a huge season for him next year

definitely. he played the first time today without any brace at all on his knee.

this was the most physically dominating i've ever seen us. both the o-line and d-line obliterated them.
