First time I watch them play was back in 1969 game. Hogs had them till the 4th. Horns came back and won it. Texas won the MNC that year too.

The 69 game, Texas comes back to win 15-14; President Nixon in attendance. It's the only "nationally significant" game I can remember between these 2 and this certainly won't be one. Go Hogs.

I think Texas smokes them. Most teams start out slow under a new coach, but I think Sarkesian is wanting to make a splash for his team and himself to the boosters to shut them up. I would absolutely love to see Arkansas win, but I think Texas wins by 21.

Texas was remarkably efficient last week and really spread the ball around. I don't see them losing it, outside of some oddball TO's or NOTs, probably winning by 10-14.

I can't bring myself to call for an Arkansas win. I do believe Arkansas is being undervalued and underestimated. UArk covers. Those players in Fayetteville are really buying into what Pittman preaches.

Average numbers from one game aren't really averages. It's good that this rivalry will soon be regenerated. Playing in Fayetteville will give the hogs a little boost, but it won't last long.
