The best coaching job of great coaches is between the ears. Bama buys into what the staff is selling when it comes to unity and working as one. You can readily see how quick they are to sacrifice for each other. Jalen totally gave up the position as lead dog for the good of the many and didn't flinch.

People will talk about coach Saban's recruiting being his greatest strength, but I also see a different quality that I think he shares with coach Bryant. He knows why football players do the self-absorbed things they do as youngsters that eventually causes division and turmoil. He just gets people's motive, knows how to make adjustments, and keeps the players from repeating the same mistakes. Not a gift most people have.
