We finally saw it last night. I want to say it was around the LSU/aTm game that you mentioned the play-action with Jesse in there, and we finally got to see it.

When you talked about it, I knew it would be devastating, be it goal line, or just a 4th and short situation. Too good not to. It was truly a thing of beauty.

Thanks for the secret updates every now and then. Always cool to hear about it and then see it.
 
I don't know if you've watched the replay, but if you haven't it's worth watching a few times.

The player that bit the biggest on the play? Manti Ta'o. The play action pulled him up to just around the goal line (we were on the 3) and by that time Williams was already a yard in, or more.

Kelly Johnson did a hell of a job selling his route so the corner pulled out of that area into the flat as well.

It was a thing of beauty.

Williams comes through totally untouched, they never even blinked on him. Straight route and turned around.

Fantastic play.

I live in OK, so surrounded by OU fans here, the ops crew couldnt stop talking about the game and the dominance. That PA TD was a high one on the list. ND sold out to make a "goal line stand" against the run and bang.

From the photo, yes, it does look that way. If you watch the play though, Steen had engaged Calabrese, but Calabrese was shedding the block, forcing Steen to go down. Right as this was happening, Jesse Williams laid him out. From watching the video, it didn't look as bad as the photo, at least to me it didn't...
