🏈 Terry Saban Says Alabama Fans Aren't So Appreciative, but He Isn't Leaving

Yeah if you just read that headline or certain quotes, which some will, people are gonna have a field day with this. I suggest everyone read the whole thing and take it in context.

Some will definitely freak out and get offended. Pobably the same ones who were freaking out about the thought of him leaving to begin with.

The WSJ is pleased with how the article turned out.

i know it is way past time to do something about the student section, i was shocked how many empty seats at the last game. We know there is a long waiting list for tickets and this would be a great time to open those seats up

There are a lot of fans that would fill those seats if they knew they would be available. It is my wish that the tickets would be made available for the highest bid instead of just giving them away to every student. A smaller student section is all you need to do to keep the seats filled.

Take EE, DD, CC and then all of the South upper deck sections from the students and sell those. Students in the upper deck are pretty useless, even though they may make the most racket at the game.

Uhhhh, i hate that. As if tickets aren't already ridiculous priced, lets price gauge fans some more.

A better idea would be to let one or two of those areas be general admission available 4 hours before kickoff on game day only. That way the fans who don't have season tickets have a decent chance of going to a game. You want fans who are appreciative? Open up some tickets to them.

The highest bid doesn't mean higher ticket prices. Let the markets decide. Right now unless you are a member of Tide Pride you can't even get tickets at any price unless you trade at ticket hub or ebay. I know I would go to more games if I could find tickets at a reasonable price.

Fellas, I know it sucks, but the ticket prices are a byproduct of winning. As long as Saban is here and Bama keeps up this pace, secondary market ticket prices will remain sky high. When Bama comes back down to earth, whenever that may be, so will the prices... Personally, I'm enjoying the winning, even though it costs more. I just regret not ever mailing in that Tide Pride brochure that I filled out back in 2000'ish. :icon_sad:
