Luther Davis said he is back at full speed already in practice drills, and that he looks better than he did before the injury...

“It’s been great,” Davis said. “He’s like a kid in a candy store. He’s just having fun with everybody, keeping everybody’s spirits up, keeping everybody motivated.

“He’s just running around. He’s looking like he’s in better shape than he was, and that’s only a plus for us. That’s real big. Everybody is ready to welcome him back with open arms.”

Roll Tide!!

...and during half time, he dunked on LSU's Basketball Team's Center twice. Immediatly there after LSU's track team set new records for running Cross Country...ever last one of them.

Curious how Cody is healthier than ever and in better shape than ever in such a short period of time. Any chance he had other issues as well holding him back to a degree or is the rest factor at play here?!?

Quite possible the rest factor helped alot to get his legs under him. I'm glad to hear that he is up and going ready for this weekend. I hope he is able to do his part for around 35-40 plays .

I'm still not sold on how healthy he really is. I saw a clip of him walking during practice yesterday and he had a noticeable limp. That could have come from the large brace he was wearing but the sight still made me cringe.

FWIW on Coach Saban's radio show a few hours ago he mentioned Cody and indicated that he was good to go and that the only question would be his conditioning.

"Now it is time for you to witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battle station" - Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine talking to Les Miles regarding Cody

I'm waiting for the HB Dive play to Cody myself.

Scott will get a wake-up call Sat., it'll be scary enough going against Chapman, much less Cody.

We just need to make sure we seal off the corners as much as possible. I'll give them all they want up the middle. I'll trust Cody and the crew to handle the mid section.

Seal the corners...seal the corners...seal the corners!!!

RTR!!!!!!!!!!

I like the way the writer simplified the game down to Cody/Chapman vs. LSU running game to force the battle to be Lee vs. Saban's scheme.

I seem to recall something similar from the Trickle down column. :)

You also made a good point with your score prediction. The staff feels that Cody with worth 6-7 points per game in the Crimson Tide's favor.
