The Eagles have traded Mat Barkley for a future draft pick. I think he was the main competition for that last qb slot.

Philly was Tebow-mad, too. They're bummed. Especially because we only have 2 QBs now. Tebow could've been useful in short yardage or red zone situations but it got predictable, at least in preseason versus 3rd stringers. I don't think that would've gone over well against the regular season starters.

Also side note .. My avatar is not an ode to Tebow (though perhaps the designer intended it in that way). 15 was his college number, but he was 11 for the Eagles and 15 has been retired by them for a long time.

I wore the shirt over to Ireland and will be wearing it back today when I leave, because you can't go wrong with Eagles Pope.
