šŸˆ Team Report: Fall Scrimmage #1 : Comments, articles, and discussions covering Bama's scrimmage.

Not a chance of that happening. Coaching alone eliminates that possibility.

My opinion on how this shakes out still hasn't changed.

I agree that Chris Capps 2.0 wouldn't happen. If Dom gets beat in more than a couple of plays, coaching pulls the plug on that!
As for Barnett, I would rather we put the shirt on him and not use him if we don't have to as long as there are capable bodies in front. I honestly think that the battle will come down to Morris and Cornwell. I don't think Coker can consistently get it done.

@uagrad93 You know how one person's perception is different than another's, right?

Left side OL punishing run game. Pass pro needs work against this DL.

Griffin hit one from about 50...

Just caught Minkah "Fitzmagic." Oh geez... SMH.

It was spinkling during the viewing session, so it should be a steamy first scrimmage for the team. Today's viewing period was extremely limited, but here is what I was able to see.

The first team offensive line remained the same with Cam Robinson, Ross Pierschbacher, Ryan Kelly, Bradley Bozeman and Dominick Jackson from LT to RT. Again there was no Lester Cotton. He had a minor injury during the week and is expected to be back soon.

For an unknown reason, running back Kenyan Drake stood off to the side during drills. He was dressed out. Bo Scarbrough was at the scrimmage, albeit in a black, no-contact jersey. Wide receiver Chris Black was in a regular jersey but he ran in place and stood off to the side while receivers when through drills.

The outside linebackers went through drills in the following order: Denzel Devall, Ryan Anderson, Tim Williams, Rashaan Evans, Christian Miller, Jamey Mosley, Mehki Brown and Joshua McMillon.

The wide receivers went through drills in the following order: Stewart/Foster, Mullaney/Barrineau, Thompson/Kief, Charlot/Ridley.

In the short bit I watched the quarterbacks were on target. I expect NO statistics to be released today, so don't get your hopes up.

From where I stood, Tony Brown was opposite Cyrus Brown (at least in drills).

Former Notre Dame coach and ESPN personality Lou Holtz was spotted on the field and ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit tweeted he'll be at the scrimmage.
