I usually hate this kind of stuff, but this one doesn't bother me. At least they did it off the playing field. If they actually planned this for a pick six, then kudos for pulling it off.
So, standing in a group for a picture is "excessive?" Please explain to me how that is different than all of his teammates running up and hugging him or giving him a high five? The NCAA and NFL are doing a good enough job trying to take fun out of the sport without you guys helping them.
I am honestly fine with celebrations that are fun even if they are choreographed like this, as long as they are not too prolonged and don't make games longer (of course I would be fine with them taking longer if they bumped commercial time from the games for them). Mostly I am against taunting style celebrations. Celebrate the good thing you did instead of acting like an ass.
Hand the ball to the ref and act like you have been in the end zone before, especially, if you are a WR, RB, QB, TE, CB or LB. If an OL or DL scores a TD....celebrate.
