Don't recall the specifics, but the hit on Norwood by LSU #6 was what the rule was written for IMO....I mean the LSU player took 2 damn steps and nailed him in the helmet, AFTER he was already tackled and down by another LSU player.
Now I know this year there have been some ??? calls pertaining to this rule, and most have been overturned after review. But to me that was a textbook example of the intent of the rule, but yet it was NEVER called.
I know BAMA won and it didn't effect the outcome of the game so that is not my reasoning for bringing it up. Had it been the other way around (BAMA on LSU player), I would feel the exact same way.
What say you guys?
